No tapes show up

Tapewind needs access to your Music library: Settings › Privacy & Security › Media & Apple Music › Tapewind. Albums and playlists from the Music app then appear as cassettes. Use Settings › Reload music library inside the app after adding new music.

A song won't play

Songs from Apple Music need an active Apple Music subscription. Music you bought from the iTunes Store always plays.

How do I flip the tape?

Flick the SIDE switch on the deck. It works with the door shut — the cassette turns over behind the glass.

How do I change tapes?

Press EJECT. The stack of tapes comes back; double-tap a new one to swap. The old tape remembers where you stopped.
