Tapewind

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 7 October 2026

The app collects nothing

Tapewind does not collect, store or send any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. Everything — the tapes you load, where you stopped, your chosen deck — stays on your device.

Your music library

Tapewind asks for access to your Music library so it can turn your albums and playlists into cassettes. It reads song titles, lengths and artwork on your device only, and plays them through Apple's system music player. Nothing from your library leaves your device. You can turn access off any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Media & Apple Music.

Beta sign-up on this website

If you join the TestFlight beta on this site, we store the email address you enter (and your first name, if you give it) so we can send you a TestFlight invitation through Apple. We use it for nothing else, never share or sell it, and delete it when the beta ends. To have it removed sooner, email hello@siamclaw.com.

TestFlight itself is run by Apple and covered by Apple's privacy policy.

Children

Tapewind is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.
